Grandma’s Corn Pudding

This is one of our favorites from  You could definitely say it’s a comfort food.  Grandma sure knew how to use butter, right?


  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 16 oz jar of Husk corn


  1. Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
  2. In a large bowl, lightly beat eggs. Add melted butter, sugar, and milk. Whisk in cornstarch. Stir in corn. Blend well. Pour mixture into prepared casserole dish.
  3. Bake for 1 hour.
